Marine Products
Morel Industries, Inc is leading the way when it comes to producing high-quality marine cast products. Such castings need to have high corrosion-resistant properties to repel the effects of saltwater and the electrolysis process. Propeller nuts, zinc nuts and collars, boat struts, and crab cover anodes are all readily available at our foundry in the Pacific Northwest.
Our Marine Products Include:
Boat Struts
Boat Struts are casts in similar fashion to propeller nuts, using C86500 "70" manganese bronze, a high strength yellow brass with excellent corrosion-resistant properties. They are the ideal solution to resist the corrosive properties of the electrolysis process when attaching your boat's propeller shaft.
Propeller Nuts
One of the most essential elements of the marine cast industry is the protection of a vessel's components that are subject to corrosion which are typically the rudder, propeller shaft, propeller shaft struts, and prop nuts. At Morel Industries, Inc., we have decades of experience in supplying high-quality propeller nuts of all sizes to the industry.
They are also cast in C86500 manganese bronze for maximum corrosion resistance. C86500 manganese bronze offers the best quality product in both castability and corrosion resistance which results in a cost-effective product.
